It is that time of year again Hackney Housing services are offering grants of up to
£500.00 to our resident groups to take part in hosting a Big Lunch style event during May-June 2019. This can be a daytime event or a Lunar Lunch event to include those that may be fasting (Ramadan will be observed by the Muslim community during this period). The purpose of the day is to encourage residents on your estate to come together and interact. When organising your events please be mindful that your activities should be inclusive and benefit all local residents. All Hackney housing residents groups have been contacted - however, if you think you're eligible and have been missed out or if you have any queries do feel free to get in touch at get.involved@hackney.gov.uk The Community Development Fund for 2019-20 is now open. It will remain open till 31st March 2020. Groups applying should ensure that they have finalised their reconciliation for 2018-19.
The CDF is an open funding stream open to all Hackney Housing estates. Residents and resident groups are encouraged to come up with community development and engagement activities that will bring residents together.
