The Resident Participation team recently hosted a children's event for residents of Sandford Court. The main attraction for the event was the ever popular Hackney Playbus which went down a treat with children on the estate.
If you live on an estate and have an event or other idea to bring residents together please email the Resident Participation Team on email@example.com who will engage residents who live there and if others want it too then we will make it happen.
The first Hackney Vibe festival for young people was a success. The Mayor, Speaker and Cabinet Member for Housing certainly thought it was a knockout event (see photo). The excellent event was well attended by 12-25 year olds with a wide range of entertainments and Hackney services present. This event takes Hackney one step closer to establishing a youth forum for housing over the coming months. If you are a young person interested in getting involved and having your say through a youth forum our our housing residents then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
